Took me a good couple of evenings with a cuppa and the telly off. The pieces pop out cleanly and fit snugly, and it looks lovely on the bookcase now. Only reservation is that it’s a display piece rather than something you’d actually spot Jupiter with, but I knew that going in.
Gareth Pugh –
bought this for my nephew’s birthday and he got stuck in straight away. Good fun, nicely made. A bit pricey for plywood but you can see the care in the cutting.
Priya Shah –
Third kit I’ve ordered from here and it’s another solid one. Sanding the edges slightly helped a couple of tight tabs slot in. Looks smart once it’s done.
Colin Fairbrother –
Does what it says. Good clear diagrams, a few fiddly bits near the end that tested my patience. Worth it though.
Jess Thornton –
Regular buyer here, as my lot know. Mine and the eldest did this together on a rainy Sunday and it kept us busy for about three hours. Wish the glue had been included, but a dab of PVA sorted the wobbly bits. Smells nicely of fresh wood too.
Walter Higgins –
Got this for my grandson Alfie, he’s nine. Big smile the moment he opened the box. He’s put it on his windowsill and tells everyone about it.
Rachel Donovan –
Nice enough kit once built, but the box arrived over a week later than the date I was given, and I’d bought it as a gift so it was a bit of a scramble. The instructions are also quite small and a few steps were hard to make out. The telescope itself is a decent size and looks pretty, just be prepared for a patient build.
Margaret Turnbull –
My grandson was chuffed to bits with this telescope puzzle for his birthday. Kept him busy and so proud once it was all put together. He learnt a bit about telescopes along the way too. He’s calling it his secret spy tool now!
Harvey Smith –
Cracking kit this is. the assembly was quite engaging, with each piece fitting perfectly into place. felt like a proper explorer putting together my own telescope. fascinating to see it come to life from plain bits of wood. loved every minute.
