Bought this for my seven-year-old’s birthday and he hasn’t put the controller down since. He’s been stalking the cat with it all weekend (the cat is not impressed). The head swivels and the legs actually stomp along rather than just sliding, which he thinks is brilliant. Even I’ve had a go when he wasn’t looking.
Margaret Ellison –
Got this for our Oliver’s birthday. Big grin the second he opened the box. Easy for him to work too.
Craig Donnelly –
Decent enough toy and my lad likes the roaring noise, but the batteries for the controller weren’t included and the box doesn’t say so anywhere obvious. Christmas morning nearly ended in tears until I found some in the junk drawer. Wouldn’t have minded if it had been mentioned on the listing.
priya.s –
spot on. My nephew is dinosaur mad and this one is properly lifelike, the way it lurches forward with its tail swaying is a cracking bit of engineering. Chuffed with it.
Terence Higgins –
Bought it for my granddaughter Maisie, who’s five going on fifty. Her little face lit up when it started walking across the lounge. Worth every penny.
Helen Warburton –
I’ll admit I was curious how they get a toy to walk so convincingly on two legs. There’s a little motor in each leg that works in turn with the tail, which keeps the whole thing balanced as it goes. My two boys just think it’s a real raptor, and they’ve spent days setting up obstacle courses of cushions for it to stomp through. Sturdier than I expected as well, it’s already survived a tumble down the stairs.
Margaret Hollis –
bought this for my grandson’s seventh birthday and he hasn’t put the remote down since. He’s named the raptor Gerald and has been chasing the cat round the living room with it, much to her disgust. Spot on, and the postie even arrived a day early.
Daniel Pritchard –
Brilliant. The remote control is responsive and the replica looks properly menacing.
