Mark Fletcher –
Looks cracking on my desk, the green glow is lovely in the evening. Takes a good hour or so before the blobs start properly moving, which I’d read about but still had me twiddling my thumbs. Worth the wait though.
Hannah Doyle –
Bought this for my 9 year old son who’s been obsessed with ‘how things work’ lately. He sat cross-legged in front of it for ages, asking why the wax rises and sinks. I explained the bulb warms the wax at the bottom so it becomes less dense than the liquid, floats up, cools at the top and drops back down. He’s now doing his own ‘experiments’ with the kettle (supervised, obviously). Brilliant little gadget, and it’s pride of place on his bookshelf.
Margaret Hughes –
Got this for my grandson’s birthday and his smile was ear to ear. He hasn’t stopped watching it. Lovely.
Margaret Hollis –
Bought this for my grandson Alfie’s bedroom and he hasn’t stopped staring at it since. He sat watching the blobs rise and fall for a good half hour before he even asked for his tea, bless him. Postie delivered it well wrapped and not a scratch on it. Chuffed to bits.

Spot on. The bulb warms the wax until it melts and floats up, then cools and sinks again, and the green glow looks cracking on my desk.
