Karen Whitlock –
Looks lovely once it’s going, but it took well over an hour to warm up and the first evening I thought it was faulty. The box was also a bit squashed on arrival, although the lamp itself was fine. Patience needed.
Gareth Pugh –
Ordered this for the lounge after getting a few bits from here before, and it’s another solid purchase. The glow is warm and the ‘lava’ moves slowly, which is just what I wanted. Bit pricey for the size, mind, but I’d buy from them again.
Priya Nair –
my son (7) sat in front of this for a good twenty minutes with his mouth open, then asked if the volcano was ‘actually alive’. I explained that the heat from the bulb warms the wax so it becomes lighter than the liquid and floats up, then cools and sinks again. He’s now been testing the theory on everything in the house. It sits on his bedside table and he insists on having it on at bedtime. Brilliant little thing.
Margaret Doyle –
Bought for my grandson’s birthday. He grinned from ear to ear when he switched it on. Lovely.
Margaret Hollis –
bought this for my grandson Alfie’s 8th birthday and he hasn’t stopped staring at it since. He’s moved it onto his bedside table and insists on watching the ‘eruption’ before he goes to sleep. Cracking little gift, and the postie delivered it two days early too.
Daniel Pritchard –
Spot on. Looks properly striking in the living room once the lights go down.
