Bought this for my eight-year-old who has been obsessed with space since a school trip to the planetarium. We set it up in the back garden on a clear Saturday night and she spotted the moon’s craters straight away, then spent ten minutes just shouting ‘Mum, come and look!’ She’s now got a notebook where she sketches what she sees. Easy enough to put together without me needing to read the instructions twice.

Solid little telescope for the money. The moon comes out nice and sharp and my son is chuffed. Tripod is a touch wobbly if you knock it, but nothing a bit of care won’t sort.

Got this for my grandson’s birthday. His smile when he looked through it said it all. Lovely present.

ordered from here a few times now and this one’s another good buy. Arrived quickly, well packed, and my daughter had it out on the windowsill that same evening. The finder scope took a bit of getting used to, took us a few goes to line it up properly, but once we did it was brilliant. Knocking one star off only because the eyepiece caps are fiddly for small hands.

Telescope itself is fine for a child, but the box arrived a week later than the date I was given, so I nearly missed the birthday it was meant for. Also noticed it’s a fair bit smaller than the photos made it look. Does the job, just not quite what I’d pictured.

bought this for my grandson Alfie’s 8th birthday and he hasn’t stopped talking about the moon since. We set it up in the back garden on a clear night and he gasped when he saw the craters, then insisted on staying up past his bedtime. Brilliant little telescope, and the postie delivered it two days early too.

Spot on. Simple to put together, and the eyepieces swap over easily for different levels of zoom.
