Bought this for my 8-year-old after he got obsessed with the Moon at school. We set it up in the back garden on a clear evening and he went completely quiet, then shouted for his sister to come and look at the craters. It took about ten minutes to put together and he did most of it himself. He’s now asking for a star chart for his birthday.
Margaret Ellis –
Got this for our grandson’s birthday. His smile when he saw the Moon properly was worth every penny. Lovely simple thing.

i’m 41 and bought it for myself, if I’m honest, the kids just get to share it. The lens gathers the light and the eyepiece magnifies it, and swapping between the two eyepieces really shows you how the magnification changes what you see. Jupiter’s moons were visible as tiny dots on a clear night. Spot on for the price.
Graham Pickering –
Does the job. Easy to use, arrived quickly, and my nephew has hardly put it down.
Jenny Whitlock –
Chuffed with this one. My two (6 and 9) were squabbling over who got first go, which is always a good sign. The 9-year-old worked out the focus wheel straight away and was teaching his little sister how to find the Moon. Brilliant gift and it’s survived a few knocks already.

bought this for my grandson Alfie’s birthday and he hasn’t stopped talking about the moon since. We set it up in the back garden last night and he spotted the craters all by himself, shouting for his mum to come and look. Chuffed to bits, and so am I.
Daniel Pryce –
Spot on for a beginner. Went together in minutes and the finder scope makes lining up the moon easy.
