Bought this for my 9 year old who normally has to be prised away from the iPad. First clear night we dragged a blanket into the garden and he spotted the Moon, then craters, and he was properly gobsmacked. He’s now asking to look up planets every evening. Easy enough to set up that I didn’t need to hand it over to my husband, which is a first.

Got this for my grandson’s birthday. His little face when he saw the Moon up close, lovely to see. Spot on.
Callum Reid –
decent little scope for the price and my daughter enjoys it, but the tripod is a bit wobbly and it takes a lot of patience to keep anything steady once you’re zoomed in. Fine for the Moon, trickier for anything smaller. The instructions could be clearer too, took us a good twenty minutes to work out the finder.

Really like how simple the mechanism is. You slide the eyepiece in, turn the focus wheel and the image sharpens as the lens moves along the tube. Nice way to teach my nephew how light gets bent and magnified. Cracking gift, and he’s already drawn the Moon three nights running.

Bought this telescope for my son, and he’s over the moon with it. Every night, he’s dragging me outside to look at the stars now. Easy to set up, and it’s sturdy enough for a clumsy 10-year-old. We’ve spotted a few planets already!

Brilliant little gadget for the budding astronomer. Adjusting the focus took a bit of practice but managed quite a clear view of the moon. Came with a simple guide too, so that was a nice touch. perfect for a beginner like me wanting to learn something new.
