Helen Marsden –
Bought this for my husband, who’s forever fiddling with gadgets, and he was transfixed. The little glass balls rise and sink as the room warms up or cools down, and you read the temperature off the lowest tag that’s floating. He’s now explaining density to anyone who walks past. It looks lovely on the sideboard too, and 64 cm is a proper size.
Pat Donnelly –
does exactly what it should and looks smart in the hallway. Only reason for four stars is that a couple of the balls hover in the middle for ages so you have to guess a bit. Still chuffed with it.
Simon Achterberg –
Third thing I’ve ordered from here and it’s another good one. Packed well, turned up quick, and the liquid was crystal clear with no cloudiness. Slightly bigger than I pictured, but that’s me not reading the measurements. Cracking bit of kit for the lounge.
Margaret Hollis –
bought this for my grandson Alfie who’s nine and he has not stopped staring at it since the postie brought it. He sits by the bookshelf telling everyone which bulb has dropped and why, and he’s even started checking it before he decides what to wear. Cracking little gift, and it looks lovely in the front room too.
Daniel Prewett –
Brilliant. Spot on for the hallway, and the coloured balls make a proper talking point.
