Bought this for my study and I keep catching myself staring at it. The coloured bulbs rise and sink as the liquid changes density with the room temperature, and the one that hovers in the middle gives you the reading. Clever bit of physics, and it looks like a proper ornament rather than a gadget. My son asked if he could have one for his room, so I may be ordering again.

Got this for our grandson’s birthday and he grinned from ear to ear. He now checks it every morning before school. Lovely.

ordered a few bits from here before and this didn’t let me down. Nicely made, arrived well wrapped and sits happily on the bookshelf in the lounge. Only thing is the temperature markings are a touch small to read from across the room, but that’s nitpicking really.

The Galileo Globe Thermometer looks brilliant on my desk. Mesmerising to watch the little globes rise and fall with the temperature.

Got this for my grandson who’s into science. He was chuffed to bits and fascinated by how it works. Really a fab way to spark curiosity about temperature and physics. Postie’s been and gone, and now it’s got pride of place in his room!
