🛡️12-Month Breakage & Defect Warranty – Terms & Conditions

✅ 1. What the warranty covers

This warranty covers the following situations:

🔧 Manufacturing defects

• Product that does not switch on
• Abnormal or inconsistent behaviour
• Faulty internal components
• Manufacturing faults affecting normal use

⚡ Unexpected failures under normal use

• Sudden malfunction without visible damage
• Product stops working despite correct usage

📉 Light accidental breakage

Only when it occurs during normal, everyday use.

Examples covered:

• Product falls from a low height during typical handling
• Small parts breaking without a strong impact
• Internal breakage not caused by misuse

❌ 2. What the warranty does NOT cover

To prevent misuse, the following are excluded:

🚫 Neglect or intentional damage

• Deliberate breakage
• Improper, dangerous, or careless use
• Product modifications
• Disassembly by the customer

🔁 Normal wear and tear

• Scratches
• Cosmetic marks
• Surface wear from regular use

💥 Heavy impacts or improper handling

• Drops from significant height
• Water or liquid exposure
• Immersion
• Heat damage (sunlight, radiator, etc.)
• Rough play by adults or children

📛 Incorrect use

• Not following the user manual
• Using the wrong charger, batteries, or accessories
• Electrical damage caused by incorrect connections

📦 Loss, theft, or delivery issues

These are covered only if the Shipping Protection add-on was purchased.

📋 3. Eligibility

To claim your warranty, the following conditions must be met:

• The product must have been purchased on Science-Gifts.co.uk
• The 12-Month Warranty add-on must have been added to the original order
• You must provide a valid order number
• You must send photos/videos clearly showing the issue
• The fault must fall within the warranty scope listed above

We may request:

• Additional photos or videos
• Return of the product for inspection (rare cases only)

🔁 4. What we offer if the claim is accepted

If your claim is approved, we will provide one of the following:

📦 A new replacement product

If the original item is unavailable, an equivalent product will be sent.

🛠️ A repair

If suitable and faster, we may repair the item instead of replacing it.

🎟️ Store credit

Only if replacement is not possible.

💰 Refunds are not offered under this warranty.

⏳ 5. Warranty duration

The warranty is valid for 12 months from the date the product was delivered to you.

Our team will review your request and respond within 24–48 hours.

⚖️ 7. Anti-abuse policy

To protect the quality of our service, Science-Gifts.co.uk reserves the right to:

• ❗ Decline any claim that is clearly abusive
• 🔍 Request product return if fraud is suspected
• ⛔ Suspend warranty access in cases of repeated or suspicious claims

Any intentional damage or fraudulent claim will result in the immediate cancellation of the warranty for that customer.
