Karen Whitfield –
Lovely finished plane once it’s built, but the instructions are only in a tiny diagram with no proper steps, and one of the wing struts had snapped in the sheet when it arrived. Managed with a dab of wood glue. Bit disappointing for the price.
Dave Pritchard –
Took me a good three evenings with a cuppa and the telly on. Pieces punch out cleanly and slot together snugly, no glue needed apart from the propeller which was a touch loose. Looks smashing on the bookshelf.
Priya Nair –
Bought this for my son who’s nine and mad about anything with wings. He cleared the kitchen table and wouldn’t be moved till the fuselage was done! The way the ribs lock into the slots and hold the whole body rigid is properly clever, and he’s now explaining lift to anyone who’ll listen. Cracking gift.
Margaret Hollis –
got this for my grandson Alfie. His smile when he opened the box was worth every penny. He built it with his dad over the weekend and it’s on his bedroom shelf now.
Tom Harris –
Spot on. The wood is smooth, the laser-cut edges are crisp and everything fits first time. Fab little project.
Sophie Ellison –
Ordered for my dad’s birthday and he was chuffed. Fiddly in places, especially the landing gear, so you’ll want patience and maybe some tweezers. Postie brought it a day early too. Would’ve given five stars if the sandpaper had been included.
Gareth Jones –
Third wooden kit I’ve bought from here and it’s another good one, though not quite as sturdy as the clockwork one I got last spring. Still, a decent build and it looks smart on the sideboard. Will be back for more, no doubt.
Margaret Hollis –
bought this for my grandson Alfie who’s nine and he was glued to it all weekend. Wouldn’t even come down for his tea! The pieces slotted together beautifully and he was chuffed to bits when he finished it. It’s now pride of place on his bedroom shelf.
Daniel Pritchard –
Spot on. Proper cracking little model.
