Martin Fothergill –
Solid bit of woodwork, nicely finished and the pieces slot together with a satisfying clunk. Took me a good evening to crack it, and I’ll admit I peeked at the solution once. Would have liked a slightly bigger box for the price, but the puzzle itself is spot on.
Priya Nair –
back again for another one of these wooden puzzles, as my last purchase from you went down well with the in-laws. This one is trickier than it looks. Smells a bit of varnish when you first open it but that faded after a day or two.
Gemma Taylor –
Bought this for my 12-year-old who’s mad about chemistry at school, and he’s been glued to it all weekend. He kept calling out things like ‘it’s a bit like how carbon bonds, Mum!’ which made me laugh because I understood none of it. The way the pieces interlock only works one way, so you really have to think about how the angles line up. He’s now taken it into school to stump his teacher. Brilliant.
Hannah Brooks –
Does what it says. Challenging without being impossible, which is a hard balance. Arrived quickly too, postie had it on the doorstep two days after ordering.
Declan O’Rourke –
smaller than I’d pictured from the photos, fits in the palm of my hand really. Puzzle itself is fine and fiddly in a good way, but for the money I was expecting a bit more heft. Fine as a stocking filler.
Susan Whitcombe –
I’ve bought a few brain teasers from here over the years and this one holds its own on the shelf. Well made, no rough edges on the wood, and my husband has been muttering at it for three days now. Only niggle is that it’s easy to knock apart if you put it down carelessly.
Arthur Pennington –
Got this for my grandson’s birthday. He grinned from ear to ear and hasn’t put it down. Lovely bit of wood.
Alice Thompson –
My grandson couldn’t put it down! Kept him entertained for hours, which is quite a feat with all the gadgets these days. A cracking toy that really makes them think, he was chuffed to bits.
James Baker –
This puzzle’s a real brain workout. It’s great how it mimics atomic structures, making it both fun and educational. Found myself deeply absorbed, constantly figuring out ways to piece it together. Brilliant.
