Bought this for my 8 year old after he kept borrowing my reading glasses to look at bugs in the garden. He’s now glued to it. Spent a whole Saturday afternoon checking out leaves, a bit of sock fluff and the cat’s fur, then saved the photos to show his teacher. The screen is bright enough for him to see without squinting and it’s small enough to fit in his coat pocket.

Got this for my grandson’s birthday. He grinned from ear to ear when he saw his own thumbprint on the screen. Easy for him to use.

lovely bit of kit for the price. Picture is sharp on the lower settings, a bit grainy when you push it to the top magnification but I expected that. The kids have had it out on the patio most evenings this week.

Spot on. The little built-in lights work really well, which is the clever bit, because they light up the sample from below and above so you can see through thin things like onion skin. My curious 10 year old and I spent ages on it. Charges quickly too.

Ordered on a Monday, postie brought it Wednesday. Granddaughter hasn’t put it down since, and she’s already hunting for things in the flower beds to show me. Cracking present.
