Bought this for my desk at home and it gets a fair few comments from visitors. Floats steadily once you’ve got it balanced, and the glow is nice and soft in the evening. Only small niggle is that it takes a few goes to get it sitting right at first, but no complaints now.

Got this for my son’s 10th birthday and he didn’t leave it alone for an hour. He kept asking how it stays up, so we read the bit about the magnets together and he’s now explaining it to everyone who comes round. Pride of place on his bookshelf, and the globe spins ever so slowly, which he finds mesmerising.

Bought for my grandson Alfie. His little face lit up when it floated! Lovely gift.

Spot on. The magnetic base holds the globe up with no wires or strings, and the globe has a small magnet inside that finds a balance point. Nerdy of me, but I could watch it for ages. Arrived well wrapped too.

Chuffed to bits with this. Looks far more expensive than it was and it’s the first thing anyone notices when they walk into the lounge. Brilliant.

Third thing I’ve ordered from here and, as usual, no fuss. Postie dropped it off two days after ordering. The globe is smashing, though the map detail is a bit smaller than I’d pictured. Still a cracking bit of kit for the price.

bought this for my grandson’s 9th birthday and he hasn’t stopped staring at it since. He keeps asking how it floats and has already made me promise to take him to the library for a book on magnets. Postie delivered it well wrapped too, so no worries there. Lovely thing.

Spot on. The globe hovers above the base using magnets and turns slowly on its own, and the little light inside gives it a cracking glow in the evening.
