Gareth Pritchard –
Ordered from here a few times now (the plasma ball was a hit) and this one’s another good’un. Took me a couple of goes to get the balance right with the plant in, so have a bit of patience. Looks cracking on the bookshelf once it’s levitating.
Priya Nair –
Bought this for my eight-year-old’s desk and she hasn’t stopped poking at it. Spent a good twenty minutes asking how the pot stays up, so we ended up reading about magnets together. The base repels the magnet in the pot, and there’s a sweet spot where it hovers. Now she’s explaining it to anyone who comes round, bless her.
Doreen Whitfield –
Got this for my grandson’s birthday. His little face lit up when it floated. Lovely and easy to set up too. Spot on.
Callum Reid –
brilliant bit of kit. Had a look at how it works out of curiosity, the magnets in the base and the pot push against each other so it hangs there in mid-air, and the ceramic finish is nicer than I expected. Visitors keep waving a hand underneath to check for wires. Chuffed with it.
Margaret Hollis –
bought this for my grandson Alfie, who’s seven, and he hasn’t left it alone since the postie dropped it round. He keeps calling it ‘the magic plant’ and has dragged every one of his friends in to see it hover. Chuffed to bits.
Daniel Pritchard –
Spot on. The plant pot sits above its base and floats there, held up by magnets, and it even spins gently if you give it a nudge. It took me a few minutes to get the balance right, but once it settled it looked brilliant on my desk. Visitors always stop mid-sentence to ask how it works.
