Remote Control Gecko: the scientific lizard that climbs walls
Wall climbing gecko toy: when science becomes a game
Beneath its look of a small futuristic reptile, the remote control gecko hides a suction technology inspired by the real world. It moves effortlessly across windows, smooth walls or the floor, while staying stable and quiet. Its 7 metre range gives plenty of freedom of movement, and its red LED eyes add a spectacular touch when it ventures into the dark. It is the perfect companion to discover robotics while having fun: understanding physics, adhesion forces and animal movement, without ever getting bored.
Gecko toy: a fascinating, original gift
The gecko toy is much more than a gadget: it is an interactive, educational experience. Use it to surprise the family, set a balance challenge on the walls or watch the curious cat’s reaction. Its sturdy design gives hours of safe play, and it recharges easily to head back up the ceiling. Given to a child who loves science, a teenager who likes tinkering, or even an adult fond of technological curiosities, it always produces the same effect: a mix of fun and admiration.

Rachel Whitmore –
Bought this for my 8 year old and he hasn’t put the controller down since Saturday. The gecko sticks to the living room wall and trundles up towards the ceiling while his eyes glow, and my son just stood there with his mouth open before collapsing into giggles. I got nosy and read up on it afterwards: there’s a little fan inside that sucks air out underneath so the outside air pressure pins it to the surface. Clever stuff, and now he’s asking about vacuums and air pressure at tea time.

got this for our grandson Alfie’s birthday. His smile when it went up the wall was a picture. He’s had us all chasing it round the lounge. Lovely little thing.
Craig Henderson –
Does what it says on the tin, the gecko climbs smooth walls well enough and the kids love the glowing eyes. My gripe is the battery life. It takes a good while to charge, then you get roughly ten minutes of play before it slows down and starts slipping off the wall. Fine for a quick go, but a bit disappointing when you’ve got three children queuing up for a turn.
Priya Sharma –
Spot on. Brought it to a family gathering and even my dad, who never gets excited about gadgets, was trying to work out how it grips the ceiling.
Tom Gallagher –
chuffed with this one. My daughter is six and thinks it’s a proper pet, she’s named it Gerald and insists he gets ‘tucked in’ on the shelf each night. The movement is surprisingly lifelike, the little legs shuffle along and it turns corners without any fuss. Postie delivered it two days early too, which helped as I’d left the present far too late.

Bought this for my grandson’s birthday and he hasn’t put the remote down since. He sent it up the lounge wall and onto the ceiling, then howled with laughter when his mum spotted it above her head. Cracking little gadget, and he’s already asking if he can take it to school to show his friends.
Daniel Pritchard –
brilliant. the suction underneath grips the wall properly and the glowing eyes are a lovely touch.
