Hannah Whitcombe –
Bought this for my 11-year-old who is mad on both Sudoku and cubes, and he went quiet for a full hour, which never happens. He kept holding it up to the light going “wait, wait, that’s a two there” and then twisting it back. I had a go too and got properly hooked. Numbers instead of colours sounds like a small change but it makes your brain work in a completely different way. Now he’s trying to beat his own time and I’ve had to ask for my turn.
Gareth Pritchard –
Solid puzzle, turns smoothly and the numbers are crisp and easy to read. Took me a couple of evenings to get my head round it. Would have liked a slightly more detailed guide in the box, but that’s me being picky.
Doreen Atkinson –
got this for my grandson’s birthday and his face lit up the second he opened it. He’s hardly put it down since. Lovely gift.
Callum Fraser –
Spot on. Ordered one for myself and ended up buying a second for my brother. The mechanism is just a standard cube core, but with digits printed on the faces you have to think about rows and columns on each side and also how they connect when you turn it. Properly clever, and a lot trickier than a normal cube. Arrived quickly too, postie had it on my doorstep in two days.
Margaret Hollis –
bought this for my grandson Alfie who’s nine and obsessed with anything puzzly. he sat on the sofa for a good hour twisting it about, tongue poking out, and then announced he’d ‘nearly cracked it’ (he hadn’t, bless him). Postie brought it two days early too. Chuffed to bits.
Daniel Pritchard –
Spot on. Clever twist on the classic cube.
