Rachel Thornton –
Bought this for my 11-year-old who is forever taking things apart, and he was hooked from the moment he opened the box. He sat at the kitchen table for almost an hour muttering to himself before the pyramid finally slid out, and the whoop he let out made the dog bark. Then of course he had to put it back in again, which is apparently harder. Lovely finish on the wood too.
Graham Pettifer –
Got this for our grandson’s birthday. He’s nine and didn’t put it down all afternoon. Big grin when he finally got it out. Lovely little thing.
Priya Nair –
i love how deceptive this is. The pyramid looks like it should just lift out, but the gaps in the cage only line up if you tilt and rotate it in a very particular way, so brute force gets you nowhere. It’s all about spotting which angle the triangle’s edges can slip past the bars. Took me three evenings and a cup of tea or four. Spot on.
Colin Mercer –
Ordered from here again and the postie turned up quicker than expected, as usual. Cracking little puzzle, nicely made and a proper head-scratcher. Knocked one star off only because I’d have liked a hint card in the box for when you’re completely stuck. Still glad I bought it.
Margaret Hollis –
Perfect stocking filler for my granddaughter. She smiled from ear to ear.
Margaret Hollis –
bought this for my grandson Alfie’s 9th birthday and he didn’t put it down all afternoon. Went quiet, tongue poking out, then a proper cheer when the pyramid finally came free. Spot on.
Daniel Pritchard –
Brilliant little puzzle. The wooden pyramid sits trapped inside a cage and looks like it should simply lift out, which it definitely doesn’t. I spent a good forty minutes twisting and tilting before the penny dropped, and it’s now doing the rounds at work.
