Rachel Thornton –
Bought this for my seven-year-old after he spent weeks drawing rings round every planet he could think of. He gasped when I switched it on in his room, then lay there for ages just staring at the glow on the ceiling. The wooden arch feels properly solid and the Saturn sits nicely inside it. He’s asked if he can take it to show his teacher, so that’s bedtime sorted and show and tell too.

Lovely little lamp, I’m chuffed with it. The light is soft enough to read by without it being glaring, and the wood has a nice finish. Only reservation is the cable, which could be a touch longer as my socket is a bit far from the shelf. Easily sorted with an extension lead though.
Priya Shah –
It looks nice and does what it says, but it’s noticeably smaller than I’d pictured from the photos. I expected something that would sit as a proper centrepiece on my desk and it’s more of a small bedside size. Light is pleasant, build seems fine, so I’m not unhappy, just check the dimensions before you order.

Got this for my grandson’s birthday. His little face lit up when he saw it glow. Lovely gift.
Callum Reid –
i’m one of those people who can’t help poking at how things work, so I had a look at it properly. The Saturn is lit from within and the light bounces off the textured surface, which is what gives those galactic reflections on the wall. Simple but clever, and the wooden arch holds it steady without any wobble. Sits on my bookshelf and gets comments from everyone who visits.

Bought this for my grandson Alfie, who’s six and completely space mad. He switched it on at bedtime, went quiet, then whispered “Nana, it’s Saturn” like he’d found it himself. Now it’s the first thing he asks for every night and he’s stopped fussing about the dark. Chuffed to bits, and the wooden arch looks lovely on his shelf too.
Daniel Pritchard –
spot on. the little Saturn sits neatly in the wooden arch and throws a soft glow across the room.
