Set this up in the lounge with the curtains drawn and my six-year-old actually gasped. He kept trying to poke the rocket and then ran round the back to see where it was coming from. Took about five minutes to get going and he’s asked to switch it on every evening since. Bedtime has become a bit of a negotiation, but worth it.
Graham Pettifer –
Does what it says. The blades spin so fast that your eye blends the LEDs into one floating image, clever bit of kit. Only reservation is that it needs a properly dark room, otherwise the picture looks a bit washed out. Fine in the evening.
Dorothy Aldridge –
Bought for my grandson’s birthday. His little face lit up. Lovely thing.
Priya Sharma –
spot on. we’ve hung it in the shop window next to the till and people keep stopping on the pavement to look, a couple have even come in to ask what it is. Easy to mount, runs quietly, and the colours really pop once the afternoon light fades. Chuffed with it.
Hannah Doyle –
Third gadget I’ve ordered from here and delivery was quick again, postie had it on my doorstep in two days. The fan is great fun and the kids were glued to it. Slightly louder than I expected, a gentle whirr, but you stop noticing after a while. Cracking for the price.
Mohammed Hussain –
Brilliant. Brought it along to my nephew’s science-themed party and it was the centre of attention all afternoon. Brighter than I thought it would be, and the rocket really does look like it’s hovering. Even the adults were crowding round it.
Margaret Hollis –
bought this for my grandson Alfie’s 8th birthday and he hasn’t stopped talking about it. We switched the lights off in the lounge and his jaw literally dropped when the rocket appeared, then he wanted to show every single person who came to the door. Cracking little gadget, and the postie even got a demo.
Daniel Pritchard –
Brilliant. Had to find out how it worked, and it’s clever stuff: the blades spin so fast your eye can’t follow them, while the LEDs flash in perfect time to draw the image in mid-air. Spot on in a dim room.
