Bought this for my nephew’s fourth birthday and he’s barely put the binoculars down since. Plenty of bits in the kit and the carry bag is a sensible touch. The plastic feels a little lightweight in places, but for the price I can’t grumble.
Gary Pennington –
Got this for my daughter (5) and she was out in the garden within ten minutes of opening the box, flipping over plant pots to find woodlice. The magnifier is the real star: she held it over a leaf and shrieked ‘Daddy, it’s got tiny hairs!’ The net’s been used on the pond too, with a lot of enthusiasm and a fair bit of mud. She’s now keeping a little notebook of everything she finds. Money well spent, honestly.

good set for the age group. my son is 6 and likes the bug pot best. binoculars aren’t exactly powerful but they’re fine for a little one.
Margaret Hollis –
Bought for my grandson Alfie. His little face lit up when he opened it. Lovely.
Tom Kearney –
Third thing I’ve ordered from here and the delivery was bang on again, arrived in two days. The kit itself is cracking fun for the twins, though they did have a squabble over who got the binoculars first. Might have been worth sending two pairs! Otherwise no complaints.
Susan Williams –
my grandson was chuffed to bits with this kit. He’s been running around the garden, spotting bugs and using the magnifier. Absolutely loves the binoculars. Spot on gift for a curious little mind.
Tom Reynolds –
the kids explorer kit is rather brilliant. The binoculars are of good quality and the magnifier really shows the details. Spent a sunny afternoon watching the local wildlife and checking out the insects around the garden. Cracking set for anyone curious about nature.
