Hannah Whitcombe –
Bought this for my six-year-old after she came home from school going on about tadpoles, and she hasn’t put it down since. She lines the frog figures up on the kitchen table and tells us each stage like she’s the teacher, complete with a very serious voice. The butterfly set is her favourite, she made her own little leaf out of green paper for the caterpillar. Lovely chunky figures, no sharp edges, and they’ve survived being dropped down the stairs twice.

Another good buy from you lot. Figures are well made and the colours are bright without looking cheap. Only small niggle is that a couple of the plant pieces are a bit tiny, so I’d keep an eye on them with a toddler about. Otherwise my nephew’s been playing with it all week.
Priya Nair –
Decent figures but the little booklet that comes with it is far too small to read comfortably and the pictures are quite blurry, which rather defeats the point of an educational set. My son enjoyed the frogs regardless. Would have liked a proper fold-out guide for the price.
Margaret Ellison –
got this for my grandson’s birthday. His little face lit up when he opened it. Spot on, and he’s already shown the whole street his butterflies.

bought these for my grandson Alfie, who’s five, and he hasn’t put the little frogs down since the postie dropped them round. He lined them all up on the kitchen table and told me the whole story of the tadpole turning into a frog, proper little professor. Cracking set for the price.

spot on. Each figure shows a different stage, so you can lay out the butterfly or the frog from egg to adult and see how it all fits together.
