Nina Okafor –
Bought this for my 8-year-old who is rocket mad and she hasn’t left it alone since the postie dropped it off. She keeps turning the lights off and putting her hand on the glass to make the purple streaks chase her fingers. I had to explain that the gas inside gets energised by the electrical field, and now she’s telling everyone at school about it. Brilliant little thing, and the rocket shape suits her room perfectly.

Does exactly what it says. Looks cracking in a dark room. Only reason it’s not five is the plug lead being a bit short, so I had to move my side table.
Margaret Entwistle –
Got this for my grandson’s birthday. His little face lit up as much as the lamp did. Lovely gift.
Margaret Hollis –
bought this rocket plasma ball for my grandson Oliver, who’s seven and completely space mad. His eyes lit up the second we switched it off at the main light and he’s barely let go of it since, chuffed to bits he was. It’s pride of place on his bedside table now and the postie even got a demonstration.

Spot on. Put your hand on the glass and the purple streaks of light gather beneath your fingertips, which is brilliant.
