Karen Mitchell –
Nice idea and it looks smart on my bookshelf, but it’s quite a bit smaller than I’d pictured from the photos. The sand also runs through unevenly so the timing isn’t what I’d call reliable. Fine as an ornament, not so much as an actual timer.
Daniel Foster –
bought this for my son’s 8th birthday and he hasn’t put it down. He keeps tilting it to see the sand trickle through the little channels, then asking me how it works without a proper hourglass shape. I had to explain that the sand falls through gaps and pegs inside the frame and spreads out as it goes. Now it sits on his desk next to his football photo, and he’s started timing his tooth brushing with it. Cracking little gadget.

Got this for my grandson and his smile was a picture. He watched it for ages. Lovely little thing.
Priya Shah –
Spot on. Sits among the family photos on our sideboard and people always pick it up to have a go. Looks lovely.
Susan Fletcher –
Picked this up for my grandson. right chuffed when he saw it. Fascinated by how it works, spent ages with it. Bonus, looks brilliant on the mantelpiece with our family snaps!

Gorgeous piece! The flat design is just so clever. Not your usual hourglass. Gives the room a unique touch, guests always curious. Perfect conversation starter!
