Karen Whitfield –
Bought this for my sister’s birthday and she loves it on her bedside table. The pink and blue filaments follow your fingers nicely. Only reservation is that the glass gets a bit warm after a couple of hours, but nothing worrying.
Mark Doherty –
third plasma lamp I’ve ordered from here and it’s another good one. Arrived well wrapped, works straight out the box. Heart shape is a nice twist on the usual round ball. Knocked a star off because the plug lead is shorter than I’d like.
Priya Patel –
Pretty and quite hypnotic in a dark room. Slightly smaller than the photos made me think, though it suits a desk perfectly. Does what it says.
Gareth Lloyd –
Lovely effect once it’s going, but the instructions were only in German and French, so I had to look up the safety guidance online. Delivery also took nine days when the page said three to five. Product itself is fine, just a bit annoying.
Hannah Brooks –
My daughter is seven and she went completely quiet when I switched it on, which never happens. She spent ages placing one finger, then two, then her whole hand on the glass to see the filaments gather. Then she asked how it works, so we had a chat about electricity and the gas inside. Brilliant for sparking curiosity, and it looks cracking on her shelf at night.
Eileen Thompson –
Got this for my granddaughter and her smile was a picture. She hasn’t stopped touching it. Lovely gift.
Callum Reid –
the physics nerd in me was chuffed with this. High-voltage, low-current electrode in the middle excites the gas, and your finger gives the current an easier path to the glass, hence the filaments bunching up where you touch. Looks great as a heart too. Spot on.
Anna Thompson –
my son was thrilled with the heart plasma ball. Watching the colours shift and move kept him entertained for hours! A delightful way to introduce kids to the wonders of science.
James Bridger –
The heart plasma ball lives up to its promise. Those vibrant filaments inside interplay beautifully when touched, creating a mesmerising display. Really makes for an intriguing centrepiece and even a bit of fun for adults like myself!
