Karen Whitlock –
Bought this for my nephew’s birthday and he had it built in under an hour with a bit of help. Lovely bit of wooden kit and it clicks away nicely once the balls are levelled. Only reservation is that the string needed a fair bit of fiddling to get the swing even, but we got there in the end.

My daughter (8) went quiet for a full twenty minutes putting this together, which never happens. When she lifted the first ball and the one at the far end flew up, she shrieked and made me watch it about forty times. I’ve since had to explain momentum transfer over tea. She now wants to know why the middle balls hardly move. Brilliant buy, and it’s sat pride of place on her desk ever since.
Margaret Hendry –
Got this for my grandson Alfie. He beamed from ear to ear when it started clicking. Lovely little thing.
Priya Shah –
It’s a decent little cradle once it’s up and running, but the instructions were a single folded sheet with tiny diagrams and no real wording, so we spent ages working out which peg went where. Also one of the screws was missing so I had to dig one out of the toolbox. Does the job in the end, just a bit of a faff.

Spot on. Solid wood, looks smart on the bookshelf, and the balls swing for ages before they settle. Even my wife keeps fiddling with it when she walks past.
Julie Fenwick –
Ordered from here again and the postie brought it within a couple of days, as usual. Nice and sturdy, my two lads had a good go at it over the weekend. Slightly smaller than I’d pictured but no complaints really.
Margaret Turner –
Grandson was chuffed to bits putting the Newton’s Cradle together. Educational, kept him busy for ages.
Brian Carter –
A cracking little gadget. The motion of the balls was mesmerising and a clever way to get my head around physics principles. Really enjoyed watching how the pendulum worked.
