Look at the time in an unusual way with the Nixie Tube VFD Clock
A Levitating Nixie Tube Clock
This is a Nixie VFD display clock with an unusual design. Rather than individual tubes, it’s a horizontal tube inside which the time is displayed. The bare design of this clock has been carefully thought out. It’s the absence of frills and superfluous elements that really give it its charm.
A true tribute to electronics
There’s nothing like this Nixie display clock to bring your scientific decor to the fore. Its almost laconic design reveals all the components involved in its operation. As well as the colorful display, you can marvel at the electronic chips and diodes on its surface.

Martin Fowler –
Third thing I’ve ordered from here and it’s another good one. The horizontal tube looks lovely on the bookshelf, and the lit-up base is a nice touch in the evening. Only reservation is that the glow is a touch dimmer than the photos suggested, but I’m still pleased with it.
Hannah Whitcombe –
Looks smashing once it’s running, but the instructions were only in a tiny folded sheet with very small print and the time-setting part made no sense to me. Took a good twenty minutes and a YouTube video to work out the buttons. Fine now, just annoying.
Colin Draper –
My son is 11 and mad about electronics, so I bought this for his desk. He went quiet for a good ten minutes, then started asking how the tube actually works, with the filament and the glowing segments. We ended up reading about vacuum fluorescent displays together, which was a lovely surprise. The colour of the glow is gorgeous in a dark room, and you can see all the components on the base lit up underneath. Cracking gift.
Margaret Ellis –
bought for my grandson’s birthday and he grinned from ear to ear. It’s on his desk now and he shows everyone who visits. Lovely little clock.
Alice Granger –
my grandson was chuffed to bits with the nixie tube clock. The lights are mesmerising and he can’t stop fiddling with it. Every visit, he’s straight to it. Crackin’ gift for curious kids.
James Fletcher –
Such a charming little piece. Perfectly organised inside the tube, these glowing numbers are captivating. It’s a brilliant addition to my desk. Never fails to spark conversations whenever guests pop round.
