The Robotic Hand Kit: between science and fascination
Hydraulic hand: the power of fluid at your fingertips
Beneath its gadget looks, this hydraulic hand hides a genuine lesson in applied physics. It shows concretely how fluids can transmit force and create movement. Children have fun handling, squeezing, grabbing, catching, and without realising it carry out a real scientific experiment. No batteries, no cables : just pressure and a clever system of clear water-filled tubes. And it fits the right hand as well as the left.
Mechanical hand: an immersive, educational game
This mechanical hand offers much more than a building set. It develops coordination, logic and scientific curiosity. And let’s admit it, which child has never dreamed of becoming a cyborg ? With it, you grab a ball, play at making gestures, or challenge friends to reproduce a robot’s movements best. As a gift it is a safe bet: original, clever and captivating. And if you fear the build is complex, no worries: the pieces slot together easily and the booklet explains every step.

Build, understand, imagine
These engineering and construction kits offer much more than play: they develop logic, precision and creativity. By assembling structures, machines or mechanisms, children discover the fundamentals of mechanics, physics and engineering principles. Every project is a chance to learn by building, with the pleasure of watching something they made with their own hands actually work. 👉 Back to engineering & construction kitsCustomers who viewed this engineering kit also looked at

Bought this for my 10-year-old who’s been obsessed with robots since Christmas. We built it together over a rainy Sunday afternoon and he didn’t once look at his tablet. The best bit is when he squeezes the syringe end and the fingers curl up on the other side, he kept shouting “it’s alive!” at his sister. Now he’s explaining hydraulics to anyone who’ll listen, including the poor postman.

got this for my grandson Alfie’s birthday. His little face lit up when the fingers started moving. He’s had it on the kitchen table all week and wants to show everyone. Lovely thing.

Really good kit, the pieces fit together well and the finished hand moves smoothly once you’ve got the tubes filled properly. Took me a bit longer than the box suggests, mind. Knocked one star off as the cardboard levers feel a touch flimsy compared to the rest, but it’s a cracking little project for the price.

Decent idea and my daughter enjoyed putting it together, but the instruction booklet was only in German and French, no English at all. We had to work from the diagrams and a video online, which got a bit frustrating halfway through. Works nicely now it’s done.

Bought this robotic hand kit for my grandson, and he was over the moon. Spent hours fascinated by how each movement worked, and it sparked loads of questions about engineering. Happy nan!

Intriguing piece of kit! As soon as I started assembling it, I was taken by the intricacies of the mechanisms. The pistons and water-filled tubes add a brilliant dynamic to the whole experience. Feels proper scientific yet so engaging, really captured my interest.
