Rachel Whitaker –
Bought this for my 8 year old son and he was glued to it all Saturday afternoon. He built the first layout following the booklet, then promptly ripped half of it apart to make the spirals steeper because ‘the marbles weren’t fast enough’. Cue a lot of muttering about slopes and gravity. Honestly the best rainy day purchase I’ve made.
Martin Doyle –
Fun once it’s up and running, but there were two pieces of the suspended bridge section missing from our box so we couldn’t build the layout on the front of the box. Had to improvise with the other bits. Customer service got back to me quickly, but we’re still waiting on the replacements to arrive.
Priya Patel –
Good solid set, the pieces click together nicely and my daughter managed most of it herself. Marbles do occasionally jump the track on the tighter bends until you tweak the angle, but that’s half the fun really.
Dave Sutton –
third set I’ve ordered from here and another decent one. Plenty of pieces, nice bright colours, and the kids have been at it for days. Knocked a star off only because the box is a bit of a squeeze to repack once you’ve opened it.
Margaret Hollis –
Got this for my grandson Alfie’s birthday. His little face when the first marble whizzed round the spiral! Lovely.
Chloe Barnes –
bit pricey for what it is, but the quality is there and it’s kept my two busy for a good few evenings. Nice and sturdy.
Graham Ellis –
I’ll admit I bought this ‘for the kids’ and then ended up building most of it myself. What I love is how the marble picks up speed on the downhill runs and then loses it again on the flatter sections, so you start working out where the track needs a steeper drop to carry it through the loops. Simple idea, brilliantly executed. Cracking set, and the children have been just as taken with it.
Sophie MacDonald –
My grandson spent hours building the Space Rail Marble Roller Coaster. His eyes lit up every time a marble zoomed through the spirals. Brilliant way to sneak in a bit of physics!
Oliver Cunningham –
Cracking bit of kit, this Space Rail set. Quite enjoyed piecing it all together. Once up and running, watching the marbles whizz about provided endless fascination as they took the bends and swirled down the spirals. A right blend of planning and fun!
