Looks lovely on the shelf but it’s a fair bit smaller than I’d pictured from the photos. Roughly the size of a large mug, if that. Works as described and the bubbles are mesmerising, just go in expecting something compact.

Bought this for my 9 year old son who’s obsessed with anything science-y and he hasn’t put it down. He’s been turning it over again and again, trying to guess what shape the bubbles will make before they rise. Even ended up timing his toothbrushing with it, which is a first in this house!

bought one for the home office and it’s a cracking little desk piece. Colleagues keep picking it up on video calls. Only reason it’s not five is the flow time is a touch quicker than I expected.

Got this for my grandson’s birthday. He grinned from ear to ear and sat watching it for ages. Lovely.

What I love is that the liquid has to squeeze through a tiny opening, so the air has to push its way back up in bursts, and that’s what makes those odd-shaped bubbles. Rather hypnotic to watch, and a great talking point when friends come round. Spot on.

Third thing I’ve ordered from here and it’s another good one. Arrived well wrapped, looks smart on the mantelpiece and the other half keeps fiddling with it. Bit pricey perhaps, but I’d order again.

My granddaughter was over the moon with the Water Hourglass. She couldn’t stop staring at it, finding new bubbles every time. Perfect for keeping her entertained and curious. Well worth it.

This Water Hourglass caught my eye with its intriguing concept. Mesmerising to watch the liquid flow and bubble about. Adds a unique touch to the office desk. A clever twist on the classic hourglass.
