Rachel Thornton –
Bought this for my 9-year-old son after he spent a whole summer building dens in the garden. He sat at the kitchen table for nearly two hours slotting the beams together and fitting the little balcony, and didn’t ask for his tablet once. The pieces really do fit snugly, no glue needed, and he’s already pointing out rooflines on our street. Chuffed to bits.
Eileen Marsden –
Got this for my grandson’s birthday. He was ever so pleased and couldn’t wait to get started. Lovely smile on his face when the balcony went on. Brilliant gift.
Callum Reid –
good solid kit, the wood feels nice and smells a bit like a joiner’s workshop which my daughter loved. Took us about an hour and a half to finish. Only reason for four stars is that a couple of the pieces needed a gentle wiggle to go in, but nothing a bit of patience couldn’t sort.
Priya Patel –
Third kit I’ve ordered from here and another winner for the most part. Nicely made and the facade looks smart on the shelf. Would’ve liked slightly more detailed instructions, but we muddled through.
Graham Hollis –
Does the job. Nephew enjoyed it and the finished house is sturdier than I expected. A touch pricey for the size, mind.
Joanne Whitaker –
The house itself is lovely and my daughter enjoyed putting it together, but it turned out quite a bit smaller than I’d pictured from the photos. Fine if you know that beforehand, a little disappointing if you’re expecting something to display as a centrepiece. Decent quality wood though.

Bought this for my grandson Alfie, who’s eight, and he was glued to it all Sunday afternoon. He kept running over to show me each beam as it slotted in, and the little balcony had him beaming from ear to ear. Nothing wobbly or badly cut, just lovely smooth wood. He’s already asking what we can build next, bless him.
Daniel Whitcombe –
spot on. the pieces fit together snugly with no glue needed and it looks cracking on the shelf.
